I love to sew! Sewing has given me an opportunity in my daily life to use my imagination. I find it extremely fulfilling. Raising four girls, who all loved clothes, gave me lots of experience. Those girls are all grown-up. I have two grandsons. One who loves trains. I thought it would be fun to make him a Train Coat and a little story book to go with it. He loved it! Ideas for other coats and stories just kept coming to me, so here you have them, my "Story Book Coats." They are a series of scenes and stories about family life, work ethics and friendships. They convey a safe, happy, creative place for a child to be.
